Easter!
(Click on a photo for a larger version.)
Griffin is atop daddy's shoulders, listening to Tommy Wells, school board member at a get-together at Marion Park for local parents considering Brent Elementary, 3 blocks away, as their kids' school.  Mommy's been doing lots of volunteer work for the PTA and the school library.  Very few kids at the school are neighborhood kids, but we hope that will change!
Oscar!  On the slide with his old friend Griffin.  Griffin doesn't see as much of Oscar because he has moved to the other side of Capitol Hill.
A fun tradition:  boys vs. girls egg hunt!  Louisa is trying to find a suitable hiding space behind the TV.  But the boys won, and what graceful winners they were (NOT!)!
We spent the day before Easter Sunday with "Uncle" Roy and "Aunt" Sandi (really Louisa's mother's cousin and his wife).  they provided these great pictures of family fun!  Here, Griffin is taking part in his first egg dying experience with his "cousins",  Ann, Nicholas, Emily and Sam.  Cousin Alex is not in the picture, but Griffin had a wonderful time with him:  they are the same age!
Easter Sunday egg hunt.  Griffin LOVES his fire truck Easter basket.  While on the stoop, a fire truck drove by.  Middle picture Griffin points to it, third picture he stands and hollers "Baaaaaaa!" which is his special greeting for trucks.
This month Griffin has switched to one nap a day, only about one hour-- but at least he sleeps through the night, 8:30ish to 6:30ish.
Griffin is walking great!  Here he goes down a hill without any help.  The trees in bloom behind are pink dogwood.
Toothy smile!  Just eight more baby teeth to go.
