At his 18-month check-up, Griffin's pediatrician stated "he's really starting to express his personality." Even though he is skinny for his age (barely over 20 pounds at his 18 month checkup), he thinks he is as big as any other kid and when he sees something he wants, he goes after it, even if the other kid weighs twice what he does, like Griffith in the above picture. Luckily, Griffith and the other big kids take Griffin's antics in stride. And Griffin leaves the littler kids alone-- perhaps he's just not interested in their toys. |

Yes that is a police car next to Griffin! Auntie Jen is in the back seat and G is like "Don't worry! I can charm my way out of this! Good afternoon, officer, is there a problem?" Big Red is definitely Griffin's favorite "toy." Don't worry! We are parked at the grocery store. |

Griffin loves his Auntie Jen! She visited for a week and we had so much fun! At the Arboreteum, at the Botanical Garden, at the Zoo (pointing at the camara outside the pasture as the cows were his favorite animal at the zoo) and in Lancaster County where we rode in the open air car of the Strasburg Railroad (steam engine) and also visited the Amish village. Jen photographed Mommy, Griffin and Daddy on an open carriage. Wonderful visit! |

Here is Griffin on his Uncle Doug's knee.. Uncle Doug's daughter Sara invited us all to the rehearsal dinner party at a fabulous Sullivan's Island, S.C., beach house. And Griffin LOVED it when Uncle Doug bounced him his knee chanting "Ride that pony into town, watch out little boy don't fall . . . Dowwwn!" |

At the wedding, Griffin was a dancing fiend! No surprise as he really loves music. And he impulsively smooched his beautiful cousin Sara on the cheek! What a flirt! |

Griffin spent lots of time soaking up sun on the beach. The day after the wedding, we all hung out at Uncle Doug and Aunt Robin's pool. Above, Griffin is using sign language to ask Daddy for "more." More splashing in the water. Griffin tries to say "more", but it comes out "moe." He also has started to use two words in a row to say things like "moe nu-nu," "bye-bye daddy," "hi kitty" and even "tok you" (for "thank you"). He still insists that trucks are actually "baa" and that everything mail- or cat-related is "mimi." I tell you, he's a character. |
