Griffin Turns TWO!
Happy Thanksgiving in Charleston and Merry Christmas in Fair Oaks!
(Click on a photo for a larger version.)
Griffin enjoying the silly sticker birthcard from Cammy.
Griffin's birthday at the daycare center.  Attendees:  Tyler, Maya, Jack, Gregory, Amelia, Lucy, Sophie, Emily, Jalen, Jamere, Coffee the Guinea Pig, Ms Betty, Ms Donna, Ms Katherine and Mommy!  Yum!  Ice Cream!
Traditional Parade on the Isle of Palms -- decorated golf carts!  Griffin's cousins Kelsey and William in the one on left, Uncle Mike, Aunt Yvonne and cousins Diana, Brian and Grace in center and Griffin and Peter at right watching all the other "floats" go down the road.
Thanksgiving Day at Uncle Doug and Aunt Robin's!  In three pictures above, fun with teeter-totter.  In the three pictures below, Griffin is enjoying the play digger with cousin Anna-- in the center, he looks so mature!  Maybe we have another construction worker in the family!
This was crazy!  Griffin climbed into Lass the Dog's cage with his cousins Brian and Daniel who were playing with their Gameboys(?)  Why?  I swear it wasn't our idea!
Below, Papa (Louisa's dad) with Griffin at Fairytale Land in Sacramento.  Mommy remembers being there when she was a kid!
Griffin with cute girl he adored!  He followed her around for quite awhile!
Griffin and Auntie Jen throw coins in the pond. The sculpture represents the Asian fairytale of the Fisherman.
Merry Christmas!  At left, Griffin dangles happily from Auntie Jen's lap.  Dear Old Great Grandad at right opening presents at Virginia's.  Virginia below at left and Howard (Griffin adores Howard) at right.  Lots of fun!
A visit to the California Train Museum with Cammy and Daddy (left) and with Mommy. This was a fantastic experience!
At right, watching the American River close to flooding the pedistrian bridge. Mommy spotted a huge fish (other observers believed it was a salmon) and Griffin really loved the small family of ducks.  Poor things didn't know what to make of the suddenly fast moving, high river!
Action shot!
Griffin loved Christmas, even though he was too young to appreciate the idea of Santa Claus.  His favorite present was a gingerbread train constructed by Cammy and Auntie Jen.  It was beautiful and delicious, covered with frosting and candies.  Unfortunately there are no pictures of this spectacular "train."  He also enjoyed the trip to the movie "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," a special treat from Howard.  Griffin slept through the first half but stayed quiet and attentive during the rest (Mommy nursed during the really scary parts).
